Mandraki was born from a love of Greek food and hospitality – a place where traditions, flavours and special moments come together to create a unique experience by the sea in Helsinki.
A Journey from Rhodes to Helsinki
“I was born in the charming village of Kritinia on Rhodes and spent my childhood in the Kamiros Skala area of Rhodes. There, I learned to appreciate fresh vegetables and herbs from the hills and forests of Kritinia, as well as fresh fish and seafood brought to the harbour by fishermen every morning. These early experiences laid the foundation for my love of authentic ingredients and the flavours of Greek cuisine, and they are present in every dish prepared at Mandraki.”
